Faith changes things! The "Celebrate
the Faith" program was a success! We are on the move to hopefully break
ground on our new addition in the spring of 2007. The success of the "Celebrate
the Faith" campaign goes far beyond the commitment in dollars. Our faith
as individuals and as a congregation has been strengthened as a result of
practicing the faith disciplines. We encourage everyone to make them a part
of their daily routine. The
sanctuary's rainbow of stories, biblical and personal heroes and hopes for
the future was an incredible display of faith. The celebration of the lives
of the saints who have gone before us and who are yet to come, and of all
our church is and does, have marked this as a special time for us. Thanks
be to God.
Our campaign was two-fold. First, it encompassed our annual pledge drive to fund the church's programs and commitments for 2007. Secondly, the campaign included our church's plans for a building addition. Some of the plans for the building addition include:

Fulfilling your Pledged Commitment is Vitally Important
We continue to move forward on our new building expansion. We seem to be on
schedule. Drywall, wiring, sprinkler system, utilities, insulation, sidewalks
and the phone cables are either complete or in the progress of being installed.
We continue to run into items that need to be discussed, changed, added or
deleted.
The opening of the new addition is very near. It would be my hope that by the end of August or very early in September most everything will be completed, and we will looking forward to our opening of the new addition. If you are a new member and would like more information about our addition, please see Steve Nailor, Building Committee Chairperson.
