Note Shredding: A momentous “note shredding” was held on Sunday, Feb. 14 as the first portion of our mortgage for the new building addition has been paid in full. We have received a commitment of $73,180 towards the 2010 Extension of our New Building Fund. More pledges are welcome. Yellow pledge forms can be found near the nametags in the main hallway.
Pledges to Operating Budget: For the 2010 operating budget, 72 pledging units have pledged $183,600. Our monthly expenses average $15,00-$17,000. The Finance Committee will be working with our membership in the promotion of fundraising events and appeals throughout the year.
Apportionment Update: Our 2010 apportionment, the budgeted financial commitment to the ministries of The United Methodist Church, is $20,208. As of Feb. 21, we have received $2,561.
