March Mission Money!

Last year, the youth had so much success with their money wall fundraiser that we have decided to create another one this year! Starting in March,  you  will noticed a whiteboard floating around the church with envelopes numbered 1— 100! Please select the envelope that represents the amount of money that you would like to donate to the youth’s summer mission trip. For example, if you select number 32, that means you want to give $32. You will also see a little note from the youth placed inside each envelope! We ask that you remove the note, as it is for you to keep. Then place your money inside the envelope and drop it into the small gift box displayed under the whiteboard. Thank you so much in advance for all that you continue to do in support of the youth!

One of our church family members, Garry Crull, is actually coming to speak to the kids this Sunday evening! At their age, many of them start going through hardships, know of friends who are, or even just see classmates struggle. Pastor Pam and I talked about how to help give the youth tips on how to help friends going through a difficult time and just dealing with the pressures of school as they get older. Garry is a retired School Counselor, who is very knowledgeable and made quite a great impact on his students during his career. Nonetheless, we thought it would be informative and nice just to have him come talk to the youth! A couple activities will be planned, given we will probably have some extra time after Garry speaks.

March Youth Group Update

Book of John
Currently, the youth are still studying the gospel of John. They are diving deep into gaining a better understanding of God's word and asking the right questions to have a clearer understanding. The have also incorporated following along in "The Life Book" that includes commentary from teens their age. You can find the high school students going over the chapters of John that they have read each Sunday at 8:45 am in the youth room!
